Response cards are the piece of the invitation that your guests will send back to you letting you know if they are attending or not. While their are some basic guidelines, the most important thing is that these cards be functional. It’s a good idea to include all of the details you need, to make your planning as easy as possible. You can include meal choices, numbers of adults vs. children, or even let your guests request a song for the reception. For a formal feel put “M_______” for your guests to write Mr./Mrs./etc. For a less formal (but sometimes more functional in our informal society), you can also put “Name_________” to make things more clear.
